Smith, a member of the Kentucky legislature, writes from Frankfort to John M. Galbraith of Madisonville, KY in regards to the availability of some land. The land could not be put on the market; it was willed to under-aged heirs. The land could only be leased, through the agent, Mr. Mcnary. Also mentions what has gone on at the beginning of the legislature's session.
